Cyberpunk 2077 Is Still Broken On PS4

From WyrdWalker_Loom

Ah, artificial intelligence. There are few subjects that are as interesting to write about as the concept of giving robots the capacity to think and feel. It's a rich topic of discussion because it opens up all kinds of questions about what exactly it is to be a sentient lifeform. Do androids deserve rights? Should they be treated equally? Are we monsters for creating beings solely for the purpose of performing menial tasks for our own convenience? Silicon Dreams asks all these questions and more, which not only makes it a good piece of science fiction but also a fascinating, entertaining g

The sheer amount of power Alt has as an AI shouldn't be underestimated, especially since the world of Cyberpunk 2077 relies on the Net and everything connected to it. The fact that she could override Arasaka's defenses after being freed by V and Johnny proves how powerful she is, even if she doesn't have a physical body. Barring the Arasaka ending, every other path mandates that V use Alt's help to hack into Mikoshi and help V and Silverhand embark upon the journey to finally separate their psyches and go their w

Some video games have much better hair customization than others. The best hair customization includes many choices colors, highlights, lengths, curls, and styles. One particular factor many game character customizations lack is hair options for BIPOC characters. Some games, however, step up to the plate and deliver diversity in their hair opti

Punk hair galore! Cyberpunk 2077 certainly had its issues with glitches and bugs, but its hair designs were a treat in its character customization. The hair designs really fit the dystopian setting with its choice of neon colors and rebellious cuts. The game manages to give these options while also having choices for players who want their character to look a little more old-fashio

I wished I was able to glean a bit more information from the facial expressions of the androids like you can in L.A. Noire, but Silicon Dreams' visuals don't allow for that. There is a camera you can use to look at the androids, but the characters all look pretty low-poly and the textures and lighting look incredibly basic. I think a better art style would have helped make the androids easier to relate to as they just click the up coming internet page look like low-poly computer game characters. However, it doesn't hamper Silicon Dreams's gameplay, as most of it is text-based anyway, so it's easy to overlook. Plus, there is a good use of color as the world outside your office window looks vibrant and full of futuristic neon signs. Meanwhile, your workplace looks drab and monotone, further establishing that you're just a cog in the Kronos mach

The facts are very simple - this is a PS4 game we’re being told not to play on the PS4. Scratch that, it’s a triple-A PS4 game with a huge hype cycle and massive marketing campaign that we’re being told not to play on PS4. You can still buy it, of course. I don’t know if the PS Store can detect the difference between a PS4 and a PS4 Pro, but putting out a tweet essentially saying "you can buy this, but don’t," is horrifically anti-consumer. There are definitely players who are going to buy this on their regular PS4s - PS5s are notoriously hard to get and for literally every other game, the standard PS4 works. I know, I had the base version of the console last gen and had zero issues with its performance aside from it running a little loud. These players will be buying it because if they want to play Cyberpunk 2077, they have no other options, and they might not have even seen the tweet telling them not to. It’s reasonable for a player to assume that if a game is available to buy on the PS4, it will work on the PS4. We should be outraged that CDPR and Sony are selling these folk an unplayable experie

Black Desert Online is famous for its detailed character creator. In terms of hair, it has a ton of choices. However, it can overwhelm some players. There are not really puff or afro styles, which is a serious issue considering its fame for customizat

Outrage is pretty common in gaming, and it feels wrong to be encouraging it, especially around a game as toxic as Cyberpunk 2077. For the record, I don’t care for the game. While it would have been fascinating to see how the game itself and the discourse around it would have been different if it came out bug free, it still would have had its issues. Bugs or no, Cyberpunk 2077 is a game with a very binary perspective on gender that trades on a mostly superficial view of trans people , a horribly misogynistic view of women and sex workers , fridges one of its strongest female characters, and contained a (now patched out) racist m

The leader of this group is Saul Bright, a character that Panam argues with time and time again that establishes their rapport pretty effectively. He's a fairly level-headed character who may play it a bit too safe at times but isn't afraid to get down and dirty when the situation calls for it. Saul is a valuable ally in battle who helps V out multiple times without f
